Step 1
☆彡 Make a post (public, f-locked, filtered ... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
☆彡 If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
☆彡 Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step 2
☆ 彡 Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
☆彡 If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free -- do it.
☆彡 You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.
☆彡 There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1) Unlikely things out of the way I would love some GX manga. Not in English though (I have 1-5 and I love them to death but that's all that is out so far, that I know of) but in Japanese, (or French, I might have a chance of understanding that) preferably from volume 6 onwards. Or translations of said chapters (39 onwads) would also be very awesome. I would love that person forever! XD
2) Alright. What I would love even more though is an icon of Johan trying to convince me in some way too get off my lazy ass and do some actual work. (Or some other way of saying that. I'm not fussed.) A screen shot or something would be awesome but I wouldn't say no to fanart. ^^
3) A Johan fic would be cool, I'm quite fond of gen fics but I am generally easy to please.
4) Rebecca also doesn't get enough nearly enough love and neither does Amane actually. Or Rei. (Or Kenzan) So fics about any of them would be lovely. ^_^
5) I would also love to expand my anime/manga horizons so if anyone has any suggestions...
6) Good song recs or links would also be much appreciated. I love rock and genres like that but I also find it very hard to hate a song (there are some exceptions, like Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas for example.)

Princess Tutu - The name sounds silly but it's one of the best anime I've seen in a long time. It's about a girl named Ahiru who is also a duck who is also a magical ballerina who is trying to collect pieces of a boy named Mytho's "heart" in order to make him into an emotionally complete person. It has giant ravens and fairy tales and creepy powers and awesome ballet moves. It sounds silly but it is magnificent.
Death Note - This is one of my favorite series, and it was my fandom before GX. It's about a teenager named Light who has a notebook which he can use to kill people. He uses it to try to rid the world of criminals, but an eccentric and talented detective tries to stop him. I recommend both the anime and the manga--the manga is a little more complete in terms of plot information, but the anime is more visually appealing.
Honey & Clover
This is a series about art students trying to find their place in the world. It's a "coming of age" story, but it isn't cliched or boring. It's hilariously funny and bitterly sad at the same time. I cannot recommend this series highly enough!
Welcome to the NHK - This is about a seemingly paranoid schizophrenic NEET who is trying not to be a NEET anymore. He is helped by his neighbor, who he's creating a pornographic video game with, and a mysterious girl who wants to be his 'savior'. This is a well-done and intensely creepy anime. I watched the whole thing in about two weeks, which is an incredibly fast pace for me.
Manga
With The Light - This is a realistic/informative manga which is about a boy named Hikaru, and his family. It gives a lot of information about autism, as well as similar conditions, and it tells an engaging story at the same time. The art is adorable. Overall I found it really fun and enjoyable to read.

I haven't heard of the others, but they do sound interesting! Thanks!
(And with book I tend towards fantasy, the manga's I read also have that element in it, but I'm certainly willing to try new things. ^^)
